Steve has been coaching in the Maryland, D.C. and Virginia area for fifteen years. Recently Steve was named as the new Head Coach for the Maryland ODP project 100 + Boys U12 age level.

Steve holds an English Football Association Prelimanary Certificate and USSF A License.

Steve's professional playing career began in England at 16 with Oldham Athletic where he got to play against the likes of David Beckham, Paul Scholes and Gary Neville. He also had short spells at Wigan Athletic and Blackpool before moving to Hong Kong where he played in their professional first division. Here in the United States, Steve was a member of the professional Maryland Mania team in 1999 and also played for a short time with the Richmond Kickers and Boston Bulldogs.

Steve took the opportunity to greater his coaching and playing knowledge under the watchful eye of Bruce Arena ( L.A.Galaxy Coach) and Alan Kelly (Ex. D.C. United Goalkeeper Coach) thanks to a number of months with D.C. United.

With this experience Steve will be able to provide an excellent week in which he will share his knowledge with your child!
