ABOUT BRIT-AM SOCCER ACADEMY
Brit-Am Soccer Academy is a British/American company with a passion for soccer. Brit-Am was established in 1999 by President Steve Knapman (see about Steve below). Brit-Am and its staff (see Brit-am staff) are committed to the English Football Association Model of Long Term Player Development (LTPD). It has formulated this model to fit the needs of the player in its local communities.
The diversity of participation in soccer is huge. Brit-am has adopted the English Football Association’s 8 stage model of long term player development as shown below. This example describes an age appropriate development pathway over time.
